AMATURO Trimulcast KJHL (JILL-FM)/VENTURA COUNTRY, CA will relocate its main studios and offices to the IRVINE area by late AUGUST or early SEPTEMBER, reports THE VENTURA COUNTY STAR. The trimulcast is KHJL, aimed at SIMI VALLEY and CONEJO, KAJL, in VICTOR VALLEY and KJLL, FOUNTAIN VALLEY will leave only a small office and auxiliary studio for producing commercials and broadcasting in emergencies in the CONEJO VALLEY, said BOB VISOTCKY, who becomes the station’s Marketing Manager JULY 1st.
"We’re not moving out of THOUSAND OAKS; we’re still going to have an office there," VISOTCKY said. "THOUSAND OAKS has been really good to us, but ORANGE COUNTY is a brand new deal. It was important to come down here and show ORANGE COUNTY that we want to be just as big a part of their community as we are in THOUSAND OAKS."
Though the station has used automated programming for several years, VISOTCKY said disc jockeys will be hired after the move to give JILL FM a "live and local" presence.
