Longtime News-Talk programmer and consultant BRIAN JENNINGS is joining THE NEW BROADCAST PARTNERS as a consultant. The former VP for News, Talk, and Sports Programming at CITADEL has most recently been promoting his successful book, "Censorship: The Threat to Silence Talk Radio," published by SIMON AND SCHUSTER.
BROADCAST PARTNERS' KEN MOULTRIE said, "BRIAN is the absolute best when it comes to developing news/talk and sports franchises for radio and new media. His experience and numerous successes in all size markets really rounds out THE NEW BP’s outstanding team of programmers and consultants across every format."
JENNINGS said, "I am delighted to join a great team of radio professionals who understand the future of radio and its importance to all new media. Radio is the core provider of great content and has a big future if we capitalize on all opportunities moving forward. Radio will become 'media stations' and we need to program with that in mind. The future is mind-boggling with opportunities and radio can lead the way."
