Tucson Cluster Gets Onboard With CC Employment Program

CLEAR CHANNEL/TUCSON’s seven stations have launched a new initiative to help local listeners who are seeking employment to market their skills and unique features on the air to attract the attention of employers with available positions. Each station is encouraging its listeners who are seeking employment to visit their websites and submit entries via an online form.

Each station will choose five entrants per week to record their own 30-second radio resume where they will provide basic personal information and qualifications, and direct interested employers to the station’s website where the entrants’ full resumes will be posted.

"Our Radio Resume program is one of the ways in which we are trying to make a difference in our community," stated Market Mgr. TOM ZLAKET. "There are many very qualified people who are currently out of work, and what this campaign does is allow them to have both a visual presence and on-air voice with the goal of relating their skills to potential employers."
