Doak Turner Turns 50 And Celebrates With A Benefit Show

NASHVILLE MUSE publisher and songwriter DOAK TURNER will celebrate his 50th birthday by hosting a benefit concert on THURSDAY, JULY 23rd at 8:30p (CT). (DOAK turned the big 5-0 on JULY 5th.)
The show, officially titled "DOAK's 50th BIRTHDAY AND 18 DAYS," will take place at DOUGLAS CORNER in MUSIC CITY and will feature performances by fellow songwriters BYRON HILL, DAVE GIBSON, MARC-ALAN BARNETTE (who will play songs they've co-written with DOAK). JAMES SLATER, RORY BOURKE, JOIE SCOTT, JIMBEAU HINSON, CHAS SANFORD and GARY HANNON will play "songs DOAK wishes he'd written."
