Cox Sells Two Newspapers

COX RADIO parent company COX ENTERPRISES, INC. is selling two of its newspapers, reaching a definitive agreement to sell the WACO TRIBUNE-HERALD to ROBINSON MEDIA and THE DAILY SENTINEL AND THE NICKEL (GRAND JUNCTION, CO) to GRAND JUNCTION MEDIA, INC., which is owned by SEATON PUBLISHING CO.
"THE WACO TRIBUNE-HERALD and its employees have made significant contributions to our company," said COX NEWSPAPERS EVP DOUG FRANKLIN. "Under ROBINSON MEDIA COMPANY's ownership, the TRIBUNE-HERALD will continue to excel in journalism and serving advertisers, as well as remain an integral part of the community."

"SEATON PUBLISHING has nearly two centuries of experience publishing newspapers and serving advertisers.
