Harvard Gets 95.7 In Edmonton, CTV Looking For Another Slot
July 24, 2009 at 4:55 AM (PT)
The previously granted new FM station HARVARD BROADCASTING will sign on in EDMONTON will use 95.7 FM, after the company received CRTC approval for the technical parameters. The new AAA station, originally applied for at 107.1 FM, will transmit with an ERP of 47,000 watts.
The grant means that the mutually exclusive application of CTV GLOBEMEDIA to put its own new station on 95.7 has been rejected, and CTV now has to find yet another open frequency for its "Essential Alternative" station.
