Kelly Daniel To Leave All Access In October
July 30, 2009 at 10:29 AM (PT)
After almost nine years, ALL ACCESS Assistant Country Editor KELLY DANIEL will be leaving, with her last day set as FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2nd. As you may already know, KELLY and her husband ROBERT traveled to the UKRAINE in 2007 to adopt their son NATHAN. While there they met another beautiful child, a little girl named INNA. They have decided to plunge through all the red-tape once again, and bring INNA back to join the family. KELLY will be taking some time off from the industry to spend time at home.
Prior to joining ALL ACCESS in 2001, DANIEL worked at GIANT RECORDS. She also did a stint at KYNG (YOUNG COUNTRY)/DALLAS.
ALL ACCESS President & Publisher JOEL DENVER said, "I am truly sorry to see KELLY leave us after nearly nine years, but applaud her and husband ROBERT's decision to adopt another child, and spend her time raising their children.
"KELLY has done a spectacular job for ALL ACCESS, and has grown personally and professionally during her time with us. She's staying aboard until early OCTOBER, but know that we will miss you KELLY, and all of the wonderful skills, excitement, and passion that you bring to our company, and the Country radio and music communities."
"I am still trying to talk her out of leaving, so I guess I am still a bit in denial," said Country Editor JIM ASKER. "KELLY joined us a month after I started nine years ago, so she helped build the NASHVILLE office and was crucial in our growth process. KELLY has also become a tremendous part of the MUSIC ROW community and has carried our name well. She has done a fantastic job. I am happy for her that her family is expanding and commend her for going back to UKRAINE, to make some poor unsuspecting child a DALLAS COWBOYS fan. We will miss her."
ALL ACCESS will have an announcement soon about her replacement. E-mail KELLY your goodbyes, congrats, and best wishes at firstname.lastname@example.org.
