SOUTH WEST RADIO, owner of five stations in ENGLAND -- BATH FM/BATH, BRUNEL FM/SWINDON, 3TR/WARMINSTER, and the QUAYWEST stations (QUAY WEST 100.4/102.8/WEST SOMERSET and QUAY WEST 107.4/BRIDGEWATER-SEDGEMOOR) -- has gone into bankruptcy administration and is for sale. Insolvency accountancy firm KIRK HILLS plans to keep the stations operating while pursuing a sale.
Real estate developer JOHN ROBERTS founded SOUTH WEST RADIO last year to buy the five stations from LASER BROADCASTING, which itself had gone into administration.
