CLEAR CHANNEL AAA KWMT (92.9 THE MOUNTAIN)/TUCSON will be offering its listeners a "Santastic" interactive time to the PARK PLACE Mall in CENTER COURT for the third year in a row. Area children can bring their letters to SANTA there, where they can insert it into a "magical mailbox," which will deliver it to the NORTH POLE.
While there, the kids can also see toys rolling off of the toy belt from Santa’s Toy Shop, try out a "Naughty or Nice" meter and experience real snow flurries as they make their way to Santa"
"Three years ago we set out to create a new holiday concept for the TUCSON market," PARK PLACE GM JIM HEILMANN said. "That concept, Santastic, has now become a family tradition and we couldn't have done it without CLEAR CHANNEL’s partnership. They have been with us since day one and we are excited to be partners again with their family of stations in year three."
THE MOUNTAIN will conduct a live day-long broadcast with Santa on Opening Day and gives attendees and mall shoppers the chance to win special gifts for the holidays through on site enter to win contests. "Santastic" will open to the public NOVEMBER 14th and continue through DECEMBER 24th, 2009.
"There may not be a better family promotion than Santastic," CLEAR CHANNEL/TUCSON Market Manager TOM ZLAKET said. "The uniqueness of the event, coupled with the beauty of the holidays, make it fun for everyone. Children walk away smiling, and we love being associated with anything that creates that kind of magic."
