Slacker CEO Stepping Down

SLACKER INC. CEO DENNIS MUDD has exited his top position with the digital music company, reports THE WALL STREET JOURNAL. He is expected to remain on the board of directors and, according to sources, "stay actively involved with the business." SLACKER was founded in 2006, and is an Internet radio service that is available as a Web player or on a portable player the company sells, called the G2,
There are no reports on who will be taking over SLACKER.
MUDD came to SLACKER at the startup, and brought several former employees of MUSICMATCH INC., the company he ran and sold to YAHOO in 2004 for $165 million.
