Cami McCormick Injured By IED In Afghanistan

CBS NEWS reports that Correspondent CAMI MCCORMICK was injured TODAY in LOGAR PROVINCE, AFGHANISTAN, while on assignment for CBS RADIO NEWS. She was traveling in a vehicle with members of the U.S. ARMY that was hit by an improvised explosive device (IED).
MCCORMICK was initially treated at a field hospital, where she underwent surgery to stabilize her condition, and was then transported to BAGRAM AIR BASE in AFGHANISTAN for additional treatment.
