AUSTEREO Top 40 2DAY FM/SYDNEY morning host KYLE SANDILANDS is on suspension again after a comment suggesting that a popular comic actress could lose weight if she was sent to a concentration camp.
SANDILANDS' joke about MADGA SZUBANSKI (best known in the U.S. for her role as Farmer HOGGETT's wife in the "BABE" movies and a recurring role on the SCI-FI NETWORK's "FARSCAPE") prompted 2DAY to issue a formal apology. SZUBANSKI is losing weight as a spokesperson for JENNY CRAIG in AUSTRALIA. SANDILANDS, on the air TUESDAY from LOS ANGELES, said that SZUBANSKI was "not skinny enough... You put her in a concentration camp and you watch the weight fall, like she could be skinny."
SANDILANDS was suspended AUGUST 3rd through 18th for the now-infamous incident in which a 14 year old girl strapped to a polygraph confessed to having been raped when she was 12. He was also fired as a judge on "AUSTRALIAN IDOL" after the incident.
