Syracuse Newsman Jerry Barsha Dies

Condolences to family and friends of longtime SYRACUSE radio and TV newsman JERRY BARSHA, who died THURSDAY (9/10) at 83, according to NBC affiliate WSTM-TV (NBC 3).
BARSHA, who started in radio while attending SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY, was heard on WSYR-A starting in 1957, and also worked on then-sister TV station WSYR-TV (now WSTM) in a 32-year run. He also taught broadcasting at ONANDAGA COMMUNITY COLLEGE.
