CBS, Carolla Partner For Podcast Ad Sales, New Net Station

CBS RADIO is now selling advertising on ADAM CAROLLA's podcast in a partnership that also includes a streaming "K-ACE" station on the Internet. CAROLLA has been doing the podcast since leaving CBS and Talk KLSX/LOS ANGELES when that station flipped to Top 40 as KAMP (AMP 97.1) earlier this year; the podcast ran commercial-free until now because CAROLLA's contract with CBS was still in effect and forbade his working commercially in radio.
The new deal has CBS offering pre-roll, in-stream, and live read ads on CAROLLA's podcast and also adds the K-ACE stream, which will debut on SEPTEMBER 28th with excerpts from the podcasts and music and other programming selected by CAROLLA.
