WKQK Celebrates First Birthday

ENTERCOM Classic Hits WKQK/MEMPHIS will celebrate its one-year birthday from 10a TODAY (10/29) through MONDAY, NOV. 2nd at 8am. Staffers STEVE CONLEY, KAREN PERRIN, BRAD CARSON, WILLIE B and TOM KENT will host a variety of special guests, local and national celebrities in the 94-hour on-air celebration.
Among the celebs dropping by will be wrestler/announcer JERRY "THE KING" LAWLER, legendary MEMPHIS DJ GEORGE KLEIN, WMC TV 5’s RON CHILDERS and other legendary MEMPHIS jocks. The celebration also features an Architects’ Party featuring birthday cake, a mass THRILLER dance and live music. Proceeds from the event benefit the International Children’s Heart Foundation.
