Sparks Dead After A TV Show Competition

CHAPPARAL BROADCASTING Triple A KSKI/SUN VALLEY, ID morning DJ TOM SPARKS suffered a stroke and later died after taking part in the physically-challenging ABC-TV show, "Wipeout." He was just 33.
Reports say the stroke was due to a condition called Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome (APS), a disease that causes unnatural clotting of the blood. He died earlier this month.
Memorial services were held WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 11th in both LOS ANGELES and SUN VALLEY for friends and family to remember him.
