Former KCOR/San Antonio PD Guillermo Lozano Dead At 78

Condolences to family and friends of voiceover talent and former KCOR-A/SAN ANTONIO personality and PD GUILLERMO "MEMO" LOZANO, who died SATURDAY (11/14) of complications after open heart surgery at 78, according to the SAN ANTONIO EXPRESS-NEWS.
Best known for extensive voiceover work over a 35-year period, LOZANO came to SAN ANTONIO from MEXICO in 1954 and started at pioneer Spanish-language TV station KCOR-TV (now KWEX-TV) in 1955. He later moved to KCOR radio as a disc jockey and became PD for 20 years, also hosting a TV show on PBS affiliate KLRN-TV, "PERIODICO."
