PREMIERE RADIO NETWORKS has announced a deal to syndicate a weekday feature hosted by MARIA BARTIROMO. Called "MONEY MINUTE," the weekday personal-finance segment will be aired during morning-drive, and is being offered to all radio broadcasters. The segment may also be made available in other distribution vehicles.
"Personal finances are more complex than ever, but understanding them doesn't have to be," said BARTIROMO. "Radio is a perfect medium to reach people with advice that applies to real life."
No one will be better at super-serving our listeners' interest in personal finance
At launch, "MONEY MINUTE" is expected to air on 150 radio stations, with both 30- and 60-second daily national sponsorship slots available.
"No one will be better at super-serving our listeners' interest in personal finance than MARIA!" exclaimed CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO VP/Programming SEAN COMPTON, who spearheaded the deal. "The interest in this segment has been astounding. We're truly fortunate to welcome someone of MARIA's stature to radio. It's a great day for our listeners."
Added PREMIEIRE Pres./COO KRAIG KITCHIN, "There’s a high level of interest from sponsors, locally and nationally, to reach listeners in credible environments like the one MARIA will create for us."
