WGN's Langmyer Releases Lake Erie Book

Add published author to the list of accomplishments for TRIBUNE Talk WGN-A/CHICAGO VO/GM TOM LANGMYER, whose book "LAKE ERIE: History and Views" has just been released.
The book is a a 312-page, full-color, hardcover volume packed with historic photographs, engravings, maps, narration, factual summaries, antique postcards, and the histories of the lake and the cities around it, including BUFFALO, CLEVELAND, TOLEDO, DETROIT, and others. LANGMYER brings readers from the lake's creation during the Ice Age through discovery by Europeans, battles for its control, settlement and development, and provides a look behind the scenes for a ride up the GREAT LAKES on a 1,000 foot lakeboat.
LANGMYER is making a book tour through the region in support of the book, starting on DECEMBER 26th at two BORDERS locations in his hometown of BUFFALO, followed by appearances in DETROIT, TOLEDO, CLEVELAND, and other cities.
