Shania Twain Carries Olympic Torch Through Hometown

MERCURY/NASHVILLE artist SHANIA TWAIN carried the OLYMPIC torch through her childhood hometown of TIMMINS, ONTARIO, CANADA on FRIDAY (1/1).
TWAIN walked 400 meters in 26 degrees-below-zero weather and lit a cauldron. The torch is headed for VANCOUVER for the 2010 WINTER OLYMPICS, which open on FEBRUARY 12th.
TWAIN said, "I feel proud, very proud. It's a highlight of my life to be able to carry the flame, to light the cauldron." Click here to read more.
