The FCC has unveiled its new REBOOT.FCC.GOV website, aimed at getting public input on ways to improve citizen interaction with the Commission. The new site also includes the FCC's own official blog, with posts from FCC employees and each of the five Commissioners.
"Transforming the Commission into a model of excellence in government is one of my top priorities," said Chairman JULIUS GENACHOWSKI. "The success of this transformation depends on strong public participation throughout the process. With the launch of REBOOT.FCC.GOV, our goal is to get input from all corners of the country on ways to improve usability, accessibility, and transparency across the agency."
The site is particularly oriented towards getting public input on file issues, including the main website's redesign; the revamping of the Commission's online data at FCC.gov/data; how citizens engage with the Commission and participate in the process; the Commission's online systems; and rules and processes.
