Joyce LIttel
CBS Urban WVEE (V-103)/ATLANTA OM and VP/Urban Programming REGGIE ROUSE has released longtime late-night hostess JOYCE LITTEL due to cutbacks. So far there are unconfirmed reports that say although LITTEL had been there for years, and her ratings held, there simply wasn’t enough advertising support to justify maintaining her in that position.
There is speculation that the station may remain jockless or use a part-timer, but eventually the position will be filled by either a live local or syndicated personality. Some speculate there has been some dialogue regarding using the syndicated KEITH SWEAT HOTEL as a possible replacement.
No official comment from station management at this time.
