Kelly Exits KOMO-KVI/Seattle To Relaunch Consultancy

FISHER News KOMO-A-F and Talk KVI-A (FREEDOM 570)/SEATTLE Group PD DENNIS KELLY has exited the stations to relaunch his consultancy, with the FISHER stations as his first client. KELLY, who served as Group PD for the last eight years, is relaunching NEWS TALK CONCEPTS, INC. as President.

FISHER VP/GM JIM CLAYTON said, "This represents the evolution of an outstanding relationship. DENNIS has been very instrumental in building both of these stations. His experience will help us continue to grow and take us to the next level."

KELLY said, "When we began this journey eight years ago, no one believed an all-News station would work in SEATTLE. Today, KOMO NEWSRADIO AM/FM is ranked #2; owns the news and traffic image on radio in the greater PUGET SOUND area; and is one of the top revenue billers. We’ve accomplished all we set out to do. The time has come to return to my core business."
