TOOTH & NAIL RECORDS band THE CLASSIC CRIME announced TODAY (2/2) that it will begin a pre-sale for its APRIL 6th release of "VAGABONDS" and will donate all profits from the album pre-sale to non-profit organization JESUS IN HAITI MINISTRIES (JIHM).
“All profits generated from our pre-sale will go to JIHM for earthquake relief in the rural areas of HAITI. JIHM leader TOM is the only lifeline to thousands of HAITIANS in BON REPOS and surrounding villages as food and water haven't left PORT-AU-PRINCE in two weeks. He spends 18 hours a day with his staff of over 20 delivering water, food and medical supplies to hundreds of people who would otherwise starve. This pre-order is designed to provide specifically for his relief efforts. It will save lives," says band vocalist MATT MACDONALD.
THE CLASSIC CRIME made its first trip to HAITI last NOVEMBER 2009 with JIHM and will be releasing a series of videos from its time in HAITI to show others the condition of the country prior to the earthquake, as a reminder that this country already faced difficult condition. Starting FEBRUARY 1st until the album release, each video will be posted on the band's FACEBOOK, MYSPACE and YOUTUBE pages.
