'The Blind Side' & 'Crazy Heart' Score Oscar Nods

It was announced TODAY (2/2) that "The Blind Side," starring SANDRA BULLOCK and CURB/NASHVILLE's TIM McGRAW, has been nominated for two ACADEMY AWARDS this year, including "Best Picture" and "Best Actress" (BULLOCK).
The film "Crazy Heart," starring JEFF BRIDGES and MAGGIE GYLLENHAAL, is also up for a few OSCARS, including "Best Original Song" for "The Weary Kind," produced by T BONE BURNETT and sung by RYAN BINGHAM. The song won a GOLDEN GLOBE award last month.
BRIDGES is nominated for "Best Actor" for his portrayal of a faded Country star named BAD BLAKE. GYLLENHAAL is up for "Best Actress In A Supporting Role" for her turn as journalist JEAN CRADDOCK, who falls in love with BRIDGES' character.
