INDIANA UNIVERSITY men's basketball radio analyst and former player TODD LEARY has been charged with 17 felony counts in a real estate title insurance scheme, reports the FORT WAYNE JOURNAL GAZETTE.
LEARY was arrested THURSDAY before the HOOSIERS' game with PURDUE in BLOOMINGTON, IN and charged with conspiracy with his former employer, insurance broker JOSEPH GARRETSON, to misappropriate title insurance escrow funds. GARRETSON pleaded guilty this week to similar charges involving the scheme, which involved $2.7 million in funds.
