Fantasia To Miss Peformances In Color Purple

Recording artist FANTASIA has just announced that, due to a medical condition, she is forced to cancel her performance in the role of CELIE in “THE COLOR PURPLE” at the PANTAGES THEATER in LOS ANGELES. FANTASIA received a lot of flack from critics when she missed shows a few years back when she starred on BROADWAY in NEW YORK, as well as on the road for missed performances for a similar condition. 

FANTASIA will miss the remainder of this weekend’s performances. She did not perform this past FRIDAY evening due to an inflammation of her vocals cords. This morning her doctor advised that for the quickest and most complete recovery, she must sit out the remainder of the weekend.
