CBS RADIO Talk KDKA-A/PITTSBURGH's annual "Warmathon" for DOLLAR ENERGY FUND last week at the PPG WINTERGARDEN in downtown PITTSBURGH raised $192,400 in 31 hours of live broadcasting to keep the heat on for 685 needy families in the region through DOLLAR ENERGY FUND's Hardship Program.
"The PITTSBURGH community is always incredibly generous," said CINDY DATIG, CEO of DOLLAR ENERGY FUND. "For over 25 years, DOLLAR ENERGY FUND has worked from the premise of neighbors helping neighbors. Because of the generosity of our neighbors during the Warmathon, DOLLAR ENERGY FUND will be able to provide more assistance to make sure none of our less fortunate neighbors have to face a PITTSBURGH winter without utility service."
