New Houston Wakeup Shows

CBS/HOUSTON Top 40 KKHH (HOT 95.7) morning co-host BRAD BOOKER debuted this morning as the mystery co-host for MARIA TODD at sister Hot AC KHMX (MIX 96.5), which was announced a couple weeks ago (NET NEWS 2/10). 

BOOKER's former co-host SARAH PEPPER stays aboard at HOT 95.7 and is joined by PK's PLAYHOUSE, which includes producer IVAN TRUJILLO.

KKHH and KHMX PD MARK ADAMS and PK are well-acquainted, as PK formerly did wakeups at former ROSE CITY (now CLEAR CHANNEL) Top 40/Rhythmic KXJM (JAMMIN 95.5, which became JAMMIN 107.5)/PORTLAND (NET NEWS 12/1/09).

ADAMS told ALL ACCESS, "MARIA is a HOUSTON celebrity from her 13 years at KRBE, and we knew with the right co-host we had the opportunity to create a #1 show for MIX 96.5. I looked at literally hundreds of qualified candidates, and after that exhaustive search it became clear that our guy was already in the building.
