BIG FISH BROADCASTING, LLC is selling Oldies daytimer WKSC-A (KISS 1300)/KERSHAW, SC to LUCY RADIO NETWORK, LLC for $157,500. The seller bought the station in 2007 for $75,000.
In other deals filed with the FCC, receiver VERNON C. FLOYD has filed with the FCC to take control of Urban WGDQ/SUMRALL-HATTIESBURG, MS from UNITY BROADCASTERS, a company headed by his son VICTOR. The court order says that the elder FLOYD provided the financial support for the station, and that the younger FLOYD lost interest in operating the station after the death of his partner ARDESSIA EATMAN, thus necessitating VERNON FLOYD stepping in as a conservatory receiver to maintain the license and business.
GAP BROADCASTING POCATELLO LICENSE, LLC is selling FM translator K296EA/POCATELLO, ID to FRANDSEN MEDIA COMPANY LLC for $7,500.
In silent Special Temporary Authority filings, SALT POND COMMUNITY BROADCASTING COMPANY has taken W275AE/BANGOR, ME off the air due to interference complaints from first-channel-adjacent THE ZONE CORP.
