Rock producer JIM KAUFMAN’s AMERICAN VOODOO record label has entered into a distribution agreement with EMI LABEL SERVICES for NORTH AMERICA. The first release under the new deal will be PHANTOM COMMUNIQUE’s debut, "The Wolf and The Sheep," on MAY 18th.
"After weighing the pros and cons, I decided that EMI LABEL SERVICES was the proper home for AMERICAN VOODOO," KAUFMAN said. "I'm very excited of our company's new affiliation with EMI. They are true proven experts in what they do and add great value to our roster. We're extremely optimistic moving forward together in creating new opportunities for emerging artists during a time where excellence in art is needed now more than ever."
"AMERICAN VOODOO has proven it can find the best new talent across multiple genres with a strong focus on artist development," EMI LABEL SERVICES and CAROLINE DISTRIBUTION SVP/GM DOMINIC PANDISCIA said. "They're not only tops creatively, but they're also very strategic about the business, and their staff are all experts in their respective genres.
