BIG MACHINE star TAYLOR SWIFT will kick off the North AMERICAN leg of her FEARLESS TOUR on THURSDAY (3/4), with a sold-out show at the ST. PETE TIMES FORUM in TAMPA.
The 39-date tour will visit arenas and stadiums in 31 cities in 25 states and provinces in the U.S. and CANADA over the next three months. BNA artist KELLIE PICKLER and EMBLEM/WARNER BROS./BIGGER PICTURE group GLORIANA will be the opening acts.
Last month TAYLOR took the FEARLESS TOUR overseas to JAPAN and AUSTRALIA, where she played eight sold-out shows. For a complete list of North AMERICAN tour dates, visit www.taylorswift.com.
In other TAYLOR news, her guitar sold for $16,250 at an online auction to benefit the COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM. She used the guitar when she performed at last OCTOBER’s “We’re All For The Hall” benefit in NASHVILLE (NET NEWS 10/22). Since TAYLOR’s lucky number is 13, and 13 is embellished on the guitar, the auction will began on FEBRUARY 13th and ran for 13 days, through FEBRUARY 26th.
