Carrie Underwood Teams With Pedigree, Headlines Stadium Of Fire

ARISTA/NASHVILLE star CARRIE UNDERWOOD was presented with a donation of $50,000 from PEDIGREE for her foundation C.A.T.S FOUNDATION, which stands for CHECOTAH ANIMAL TOWN AND SCHOOL FOUNDATION. The money will go towards building an animal shelter in CARRIE’s hometown of CHECOTAH, OK.

In other CARRIE news, she will appear in the MARCH 8th issue of PEOPLE. She is also set to headline 2010’s STADIUM OF FIRE on JULY 3rd at BRIGHAM YOUNG UNIVERSITY’s LAVELL EDWARDS STADIUM in PROVO, UTAH. The event attracts an average attendance of 50,000 people.
UNDERWOOD said: “I am really excited about being invited to STADIUM OF FIRE’s 30th anniversary celebration! Our country has a lot to celebrate this INDEPENDENCE DAY, and I want to do my part to make it unforgettable.”
Tickets go on sale to the public on FRIDAY (3/5) and will be sold online at www.byutickets.com and at the BYU MARRIOTT CENTER ticket office in PROVO.
