GLOTOWN/LOVE EVERYBODY artist BIG KENNY is back in HAITI to play for the US troops who have been stationed there since the JANUARY 12th earthquake. BIG KENNY stated on his blog that he was there, “In honor of my friend WALT RATTERMAN. There is much to do.”
BIG KENNY had previously been in HAITI searching for WALT, who was in the country to promote renewable energy projects. RATTERMAN’s remains were discovered at the HOTEL MONTANA in PORT-AU-PRINCE, HAITI, where he was staying when the earthquake hit the area (NET NEWS 2/11).
BIG KENNY played for the MARINES at CAMP CAARFOUR TODAY (3/4). Check out pictures on his website here.
