Radio One Buys Detroit Translator; Nebraska FM CP Sold

BEST MEDIA, INC. is selling FM translator W206BI/HAMTRAMCK-DETROIT to RADIO ONE's BELL BROADCASTING COMPANY for $120,000. The translator has an application to move from 89.1 FM to 99.9 FM and rebroadcasts RADIO ONE's Urban WDMK (105.9 KISS FM).
In another deal filed with the FCC, OREGON EAGLE, INC. is selling KMBD-A/TILLAMOOK, OR to ALEXANDRA COMMUNICATIONS, INC. for $150,000. ALEXANDRA owns Country KIXT/BAY CITY, OR in the market.
VOX AM/FM, LLC is selling Talk WTSJ-A/RANDOLPH, VT to ROBERT VINIKOOR's KOOR COMMUNICATIONS, INC. for $70,000.
And in applications for silent Special Temporary Authority, JUAN ALBERTO AYALA has taken FM translator K262BP/CONNER, CA silent due to loss of its transmitter site, and SPIRIT BROADCASTING, INC. has taken Religion WGTM-A/WILSON, NC off the air due to a transmitter malfunction but expects to return by APRIL 1st with a temporary transmitter.
Nebraska FM CP Sold
BIG CAT BROADCASTING is selling the construction permit for a new FM in HAY SPRINGS, NE to CHADRAD COMMIUNICATIONS for $85,000 cash. CHADRAD owns KCSR-A/CHADRON, NE.
MEDIA SERVICES GROUP's JODY MCCOY served as exclusive broker for the deal, representing the seller.
