FCC Sets Cross-Ownership Workshop
Unveils 'Spectrum Dashboard' Tool

The next FCC media ownership workshop is now set for APRIL 20th in TAMPA. The event, at the UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA, will examine the issue of newspaper/broadcast cross-ownership. Panelists will be announced at a later date.
The Commission has also launched its "Spectrum Dashboard" tool at the new Reboot.FCC.gov, allowing the public to search how spectrum is being used and who holds the licenses for what parts of the spectrum. The tool has launched with plain language information on mobile broadband service frequencies between 225 MHz and 3.7 GHzm and enhanced research functions for licenses in 700 MHz, 800 MHz Cellular, Advanced Wireless Service, Broadband Personal Communications Service, 2.3 GHz Wireless Communications Service, Broadband Radio Service, Educational Broadband Service, Full Power TV Broadcast, and Mobile Satellite Service.
