CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO's CINCINNATI cluster is partnering with crosstown RAYCOM FOX affiliate WXIX-TV (FOX19) in a multi-year deal that includes news content and cross-promotion.
Talk WLW-A and FOX19 will partner their news operations and content, with cross-promotion and sharing of station personalities, while Talk WKRC-A (55KRC) will air hourly FOX19-produced news and weather updates and will continue sharing the "Simply Money" show with FOX19's news. FOX19 will also air an HD production of Rock WEBN's annual CINCINNATI BELL/WEBN Fireworks show.
"We look forward to working with one of the premiere television companies in the area," said CLEAR CHANNEL Pres./Market Manager CHUCK FREDRICK. "FOX19 provides outstanding content to the community and will be a great addition to our CLEAR CHANNEL market leading brands."
"We are very excited to align our Stormtracker weather brand with the tradition and power of 700WLW and bring the other CLEAR CHANNEL properties under our Your Home for News umbrella," said FOX19 VP/GM BILL LANESEY, adding, "Bringing the fireworks back home to FOX19 is an extension of our commitment to providing Tri-state viewers access to the most important events in our community."
