CITADEL Talk KABC-A/LOS ANGELES inks a deal to continue as the flagship for LOS ANGELES DODGERS baseball. The new deal extends the arrangement through the 2011 season; KABC has served as the DODGERS flagship for 28 of the team's years in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, including 1973-97.
"The momentum that we built with KABC in the second half of last season, combined with the quality of the broadcast and signal strength makes KABC the place where we desire to be," said DODGERS Chief Revenue Officer MICHAEL YOUNG. "We are grateful for our close relationship with BOB MOORE and his entire staff and we are encouraged by the smooth process that we have developed regarding our coordinated sales efforts."
"KABC and CITADEL are extremely excited about continuing our partnership with the DODGERS and we look forward to the creative new opportunities that will exist in the coming seasons," said KABC GM BOB MOORE. "What was once a simple radio rights deal is truly a fully integrated marketing and broadcasting partnership and we're looking forward keeping DODGER baseball on the air."
