Blaine Larsen Hits The Road For Musicians On Call
April 6, 2010 at 7:17 AM (PT)
TREEHOUSE RECORDS artist BLAINE LARSEN is in the middle of a mini-tour of HARD ROCK CAFÉ venues across the country in support of MUSICIANS ON CALL. LARSEN recently played to sold-out crowds at the HARD ROCKS in SEATTLE and DENVER, and the five-city tour will conclude at the HARD ROCK LAS VEGAS on APRIL 18th, the night of the 45th Annual ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC (ACM) AWARDS.
LARSEN is taking time during the day to visit hospitals in each city to bring music to the bedsides of patients, which is the mission of the MUSICIANS ON CALL organization. He spent several hours in children’s hospitals in SEATTLE and DENVER before taking the stage later that night.
LARSEN said: “I was honored when they asked me to be a part of this. And I am always ready to give back, to do for others … and I always get so much more out of it than I give. But doing this, one on one, with people who just have nothing left but their fight … you realize how much music can matter.”
Fans can look for BLAINE in the “Fans Wanted” section of PEOPLE COUNTRY’s latest issue, which hits newsstands FRIDAY (4/9). For more on BLAINE, see www.blainelarsen.com.
