Long-time Alternative vet MARCO COLLINS joins UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON Alternative KEXP/SEATTLE as a DJ.
MARCO was most recently doing middays for CLEAR CHANNEL Alternative KYSR (98-7FM)/LOS ANGELES from SEATTLE. He previously has worked at XTRA-F (91X)/SAN DIEGO, KNDD (107.7 THE END)/SEATTLE, and KWOD/SACRAMENTO.
MARCO COLLINS told ALL ACCESS, "I've been a fan of KEXP since it was called KCMU back when I was doing college radio promotion in 1990 for RELATIVITY RECORDS! To me, this station is the format of the future. Not only are we on the airwaves in SEATTLE, but our online listenership is steadily growing. I get e-mail requests from JAPAN, AMSTERDAM, DUBAI, LONDON as well as all over the States."
He added, "The awesome thing about KEXP is that every jock picks their own music ... So, I'm also looking to get some servicing from labels as well."
