Former Gators Radio Coordinator's Trial Delayed, Plea In Works

Former UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA football radio Network Coordinator STEVE BABIK's trial on charges of receipt, distribution and possession of child pornography has been delayed while his attorney prepares to enter a plea for BABIK in the case, reports the GAINESVILLE SUN.
BABIK faces 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine on the distribution charge and 10 years and $250,000 on the possession charge and pleaded not guilty in JANUARY. A new trial date has been set for MAY 3rd.
The PENN STATE graduate had been with the GATOR program or 20 years and hosted the "TAILGATOR" pre-game show and coach URBAN MEYER's post-game show on the network.
