Soundgarden, Green Day, Lady Gaga on Lollapalooza Lineup

August 8-10th

SOUNDGARDEN, GREEN DAY, LADY GAGA, ARCADE FIRE, THE STROKES and PHOENIX will headline this SUMMER's LOLLAPALOOZA 2010 on AUGUST 8th-10th at GRANT PARK in CHICAGO.

It’s a monumental year for LOLLAPALOOZA, filled with homecomings, reunions, and first-times. SOUNDGARDEN, 1992 and 1996 LOLLAPALOOZA alumni, return to the CHICAGO festival for their first performance since 1997. GREEN DAY will rock GRANT PARK sixteen years after their first LOLLAPALOOZA appearance. While LADY GAGA will headline the festival only three short years after playing the BMI stage at LOLLAPALOOZA 2007. In addition, it's the first show for THE STROKES in four years.

The lineup for the shows at GRANT PARK features SOCIAL DISTORTION, MGMT, JIMMY CLIFF, HOT CHIP, THE BLACK KEYS, THE NATIONAL, SPOON, DEVO, CYPRESS HILL, CUT COPY, THE NEW PORNOGRAPHERS, ERYKAH BADU, SLIGHTLY STOOPID, GRIZZLY BEAR, GOGOL BORDELLO, CHROMEO, WOLFMOTHER, YEASAYER, X, JAPAN, MUTEMATH, METRIC, DIRTY PROJECTORS, AFI, MAVIS STAPLES, MATT & KIM, THE XX, DRIVE-BY TRUCKERS, BLUES TRAVELER, EDWARD SHARPE & THE MAGNETIC ZEROS, and THE TEMPER TRAP.
