The man who arranged the 2008 fight between DANNY BONADUCE and the HOWARD STERN Show's REVEREND BOB LEVY, boxing promoter DAMON FELDMAN, has been arrested for promoting without a license and for fixing at least one of the six fights he set up during 2008 and 2009. The EXAMINER.COM also reports FELDMAN is in trouble for operating without a promoter's license.
BONADUCE and LEVY hyped the event on the HOWARD STERN Show in SEPTEMBER 2008. The match ended with LEVY knocked out in the second round.
PENNSLYVANIA Attorney General TOM CORBETT said, "The only thing that appears to be 'real' about any of these events is the money that went into Mr. FELDMAN’s pocket and the media attention that he received. These so-called fights were staged without concern for the health and safety of the participants, a lack of proper medical care and with a total disregard for the professional standards of boxing in PENNSYLVANIA."
