BOLD GOLD MEDIA GROUP, LP is selling Adult Standards WNAK-A/NANTICOKE, PA to KEVIN FITZGERALD, BEN SMITH and BETTY CURTIN's GEOS COMMUNICATIONS for $128,659, to be paid in unequal monthly payments through DECEMBER, when a final $53,655 payment will be due. GEOS has taken over the station in a time brokerage agreement. In a separate filing, GEOS is applying for a booster at TOWANDA, PA for its Hot AC WZKN (KZ 96.9)/RIDGEBURY, PA.
In other deals filed with the FCC, GAP BROADCASTING, LLC is selling the construction permit for a new FM in ELDORADO, TX to DANNY RAY BOYER and PAULA BOYER's TENN-VOL CORP. for $12,500.
THE POSITIVE RADIO NETWORK, INC. is selling the construction permit for noncommercial WWCX/CORINTH, ME to THE PRESENCE RADIO NETWORK, INC. for $4,000.
The STATE UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK- OSWEGO (licensee of WRVO/OSWEGO, NY) is swapping FM translator W292DQ/GENEVA, NY to AUBURN BROADCASTING, INC. (FINGER LAKES RADIO GROUP) for W214BR/GENEVA. The deal also includes co-location of the translators on a single tower.
And EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION is selling FM translator K217DU/SIOUX FALLS, SD to JOHN E. SMALL's CUP O'DIRT, LLC for $50,000. The translator, which holds a construction permit to move from 91.3 FM to 92.1 FM to allow commercial operation, would provide an FM signal for AM daytimer KSQB-A/SIOUX FALLS, which the buyer is in the process of acquiring.
In a new station application, FLORIDA-based WAGENVOORD ADVERTISING GROUP INC. has applied for a new AM at KEAAU, HI. The proposed Class B facility would be on 1250 AM with 5,000 watts days and 1,500 watts at night, nondirectional, using a tower shared with PACIFIC RADIO GROUP Sports KHLO-A and PARROTT BROADCASTING Variety KIPA-A/HILO.
