Citadel Revenues Rise 5% In Q1

CITADEL BROADCASTING is reporting first-quarter net revenues of $165.028 million, up 5% year-to-year. Radio station revenues jumped 5.5% to $138.144 million while the Radio Network segment fell slightly to $28.059 million.
Significant revenue growth came from the LOS ANGELES, DETROIT, and DALLAS clusters, while SALT LAKE CITY and WASHINGTON slipped. The improved results drove operating income up 161.3% to $37.137 million.
The company awaits a confirmation hearing on its reorganization plan, set for MAY 12th.
