CBS and CNN are back in negotiations to arrange a news-gathering partnership, reports NEW YORK MAGAZINE.
The parties have previously discussed a partnership deal but have not come to an agreement; the magazine reports, "The talks revolve around how the two news divisions can combine operations in a bid to cut costs and expand audiences on both sides."
CBS and CNN owner TIME WARNER recently partnered on the NCAA men's basketball tournament television rights, inking a $10.8 billion deal that will see early-round MARCH MADNESS games shared between CBS and TIME WARNER cable networks.
