Former ALL ACCESS Ass’t Country Editor KELLY DANIEL has put together a one-day conference for parents who adopt children from other countries and go through post-partum effects after bringing them home from the airport, when reality sets in.
She and her husband ROBERT, along with their two children, NATHAN & INNA, were recently featured in an article in the TENNESSEAN that tells their story of adopting NATHAN and INNA from UKRAINE, and how they hope this conference will help new parents learn from their experience.
The conference is called “What To Do After Leaving The Airport” and will be held at BRENTWOOD BAPTIST CHURCH in BRENTWOOD, TN (a suburb of NASHVILLE) on SEPTEMBER 25th. Registration is $25, and those who attend will learn from experts and counselors on how to adjust to the possible challenges that come with adoption, such as emotional stress, physical ailments, language barriers and more.
