Virginia Tech Sports To Air On D.C.'s Fan

VIRGINIA TECH football and men's basketball will air on CBS RADIO Sports WJFK (106.7 THE FAN)/WASHINGTON under a multi-year deal with the VIRGINIA TECH ISP SPORTS NETWORK. THE FAN will also air weekly "TECH TALK LIVE" coaches' shows with BILL ROTH joined by football coach FRANK BEAMER and basketball coach SETH GREENBERG. HOKIES games were previously heard in the WASHINGTON area on RED ZEBRA Sports WTEM-A (ESPN 980).
"We are very excited to enter into this long-term partnership with VIRGINIA TECH sports," said WJFK PD CHRIS KINARD. "VIRGINIA TECH has a very large and passionate fan base in the D.C. area. We know HOKIES fans will be thrilled to hear their team on our crystal clear FM signal across the region."
