Longtime Promoter Keith Fowler Passes

Country concert-promoter ROBERT “KEITH” FOWLER has passed away. FOWLER, who worked as the in-house promoter for the group ALABAMA for many years, was 80 years old. He was also involved in the careers of CONWAY TWITTY, JERRY LEE LEWIS, CHARLIE PRIDE and others, and was the first promoter to pair up CONWAY TWITTY and LORETTA LYNN for a concert tour.
FOWLER was the owner/operator of GROWERS WAREHOUSE in DOUGLAS, GEORGIA for many years and was also the previous owner of TOWN and COUNTRY RESTAURANT in KING, GEORGIA.
