ROCKWELL MEDIA FOUNDATION, INC. is selling the construction permit for FM translator K272EE/MOAPA, NV to S&R BROADCASTING, INC. for $100. The buyer intends to rebroadcast its Talk KDOX-A (FOX NEWS 1280)/LAS VEGAS on the translator.
In other deals filed with the FCC, ROCKWELL is also buying the construction permit for a new AM at VERNAL, UT from SCOTT POWELL for $3,000 under an option agreed to in 2007.
HORIZON CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP is selling FM translator K249DW/LITTLEFIELD, TX to WORLD RADIO LINK, INC. for $10,000.
CHRISTIAN BROADCASTING, INC. is applying for a new AM station at ANCHORAGE, AK. The facility would use 10,000 watts days and 8,100 watts at night on 1310 AM.
SAGA is asking the FCC for an extension of the silent STA to keep K259BW/YANKTON, SD off the air due to "construction issues." SAGA says that it inadvertently filed the request late and is asking for a waiver of the deadline rules.
And PRAYER TOWER MINISTRY has asked for an extension of its silent STA for low power FM WLWZ-LP/CASSOPOLIS, MI. The station is moving to a new tower after having to vacate its old location to make way for an FM translator.
